• Apr 1 (Sat) — PUBSVC — Annual Siren Test.  Sarpy County depends on our verifying every siren in the county each year.  It is a good warm-up drill before severe weather season.  Contact Ron NØPOM to sign up.  Net begins at 9:30 and our goal is to verify all sirens on the 10 AM sounding.  (Also see March 29th)
• Apr 1 (Sat) — Central Plains Severe Weather Symposium 2006 at Lincoln Southwest High School (7001 South 14th Street, Lincoln), 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  The organizer is Dr. Ken Dewey of UNL.  More info is here.

• Apr 13 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Wendy's on Galvin Rd, open to the membership.  More info here.
• Apr 15 (Sat) — HAMFEST — Hambash 2006, Ararat Shrine, 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City, MO.  Sponsored by the Ararat Shrine Amateur Radio Club.  More info is http://www.hambash.com.

• Apr 20 (Thu) — Club Anniversary Meeting.  This will be a quarterly dinner meeting.  Dinner will start at 6:00 p.m., cost is $8.00 per person, guests are welcome!  Menu:  Ruby chicken, cheesy potatoes, green beans w/almonds, Jello with fruit, assorted breads with butter, coffee, tea and coconut cake for dessert.  Paula Hyland will be catering the dinner.  There will be door prizes following the dinner.  Make your reservation with Ladonna KBØOUO at dinner@bellevuearc.org no later than 4/13.  The regular business meeting follows at 7:30 p.m.
