• May 6 (Sat) — HAMFEST — Ashland ARC Swap Meet, 8 AM - 2 PM at the Saunders County Fairgrounds in Wahoo, NE.  More info is at http://www.ashlandarc.net/body_swap_meet_flier.html.
• May 11 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Wendy's on Galvin Rd, open to the membership. More info here.
• May 13 (Sat) — PUBSVC — Bellevue Bike Club's Spoke and Hub Century Ride.  Contact George KBØZZT or Wayne KE6DZD.
• May 18 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:45 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue.  Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  The guest speaker will be Matt Anderson, KAØBOJ the ARRL Section Manager for Nebraska.  He will be addressing recent changes to the ARES leadership in the area and what the plans are for moving ahead.  More info here.  This is a one-time change for the start time due to another event at the same venue.
• May 19-21 (Fri-Sun) — CERT Training.  Join Red Cross volunteers for Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) sponsored by Metro Omaha Area CERT.  Times:  May 19th - 6:30 to 10:00 pm, May 20th - 8:30 to 5:00 pm May 21st - 8:30 to 4:00 pm (these are not separate classes, you must attend all three sessions).  Location:  The new Omaha Fire Training Center, 11550 Rainwood Road.  If you are interested or would like to enroll, please contact anzalonej@usa.redcross.org or call 402-343-7712.
• May 19-21 (Fri-Sun) — HAMFEST — Dayton Hamvention.  More info is at http://www.hamvention.org/.
• May 21 (Sun) — PUBSVC — MS-50 Bike Ride.  Communicators will be needed along the route.  Point of contact is Wayne KE6DZD (bikeride@bellevuearc.org).
• May 29 (Mon) — Memorial Day Holiday.  Flag flies at half-staff until noon.
