Sep 4 (Mon) — Labor Day Holiday.
Sep 9 (Sat) — Annual BARC Picnic at the Walnut Creek Recreation Area in the Grainge Shelter on the east side of the park (enter at the east entrance along 96th Street, south of Highway 370). Setup starts about 10:30, arrivals about 11:30, lunch about noon. Stay until you're ready to go.
Sep 14 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Wendy's on Galvin Rd, open to the membership. More info here.
Sep 17 (Sun) — HAMFEST — Boyer Valley ARC Flea Market, 8 AM - Noon, 118 S 5th Street, Missouri Valley, IA. More info here.
Sep 21 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio. Jim McGee of the Nebraska Department of Roads is going to talk about the new Department of Roads Operations Center, progress in Intelligent Transportation, and how that should make travel faster and safer. Sep 24 (Sun) — PUBSVC — Make-A-Wish Bike Ride. Amateur Radio Operators needed for Health/Welfare/Safety of Bicyclists who are riding to raise funds for Make-A-Wish. Contact George KBØZZT for information, time and location at KB0ZZT@arrl.net.
Sep 30 (Sat)— PUBSVC — The River City Roundup parade winds through downtown Omaha ending in front of the Qwest Center. Volunteers are needed to provide communications support for this annual event. More information on the parade is here. Contact Dar W9HZC to sign up to help.
