Dec 1 (Fri) — Skywarn Recognition Day, runs from 6:00 PM local on Friday to 6:00 PM on Saturday, at the National Weather Service, 6707 N. 288th Street in Valley, NE. For more information contact Geri Norris, N5RIG.
Dec 2 (Sat) — NSTAR Launch (Nebraska Stratospheric Amateur Radio), flight 06-B is tentatively scheduled for 8:30am CST. Launch site TBD. Primary APRS will be N9XTN-11 on 144.34 MHz and backup APRS will be N9XTN-12 on 144.39 MHz. More info here. (Flight moved to weekend of 13-14 January due to weather conditions)
Dec 8 (Fri) — Annual Christmas Dinner and Meeting at Farmer B's in Papillion. The social hour starts at 5:30, dinner at 6:30, and the meeting at 7:30. This meeting will include the election of officers for 2007. Make your dinner reservation here.
Dec 25 (Mon) — Christmas Holiday.

Note: There is no monthly general membership meeting or board meeting in December.
