CERT Training, part 1. 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM at the La Vista Police

- Feb. 12 (Mon) — Cancelled due to weather. PottCo Quarterly ARES Planning meeting,
7:00pm at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse (EOC). Meeting is open to
anyone; especially ARES members. Talk-in required on 147.495 MHz simplex
or call 712-328-5779 to get in the building.
- Feb 15 (Thu) — BARC Quarterly Dinner at 6:00 PM. Dinner
includes lasagna, tossed salad with dressing, garlic bread, coffee or iced
tea, sherbert and Valentine cookies. The cost $8.50 per person.

- Feb 15 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at
the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur
radio. Business meeting will be followed by a presentation related to

- Feb 17 (Sat) — FCC license testing. Registration starts at 1
PM with testing starting at 2 PM at Midlands Hospital. For more

CERT Training, part 2. You must have attended part 1 (above on Feb

- Feb 24 (Sat) — FCC license testing. This is an
additional testing session to accommodate
those who what to test for General or Extra under the new rules that go into
effect on 2/23. Registration starts at 1
PM with testing starting at 2 PM. This will be at a different
location than we usually use for classes and tests. It will be at
the BARC General Meeting location, the Masonic Lodge dining room, 1908
