SWIARC Hamorama, Westside Community Conference Center, 108th &
Grover, Omaha, NE. Doors open at 9:00 AM. Sponsored by
SWIARC.
Includes a VE testing session, registration starts at 9:00 AM. Talk-in

- Mar 8 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Wendy's on Galvin Rd,
open to the membership. More info here.
- Mar 14 (Wed) —
TRAINING — Pottawattamie County Weather Spotter
Training, 7:00PM, Carson Community Center. Open to anyone.
This is the same spotter training that NWS will have at the 3/29 meeting.
Volunteer fire fighters attend as well as a few ham radio operators.

- Mar 15 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held
at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.
Business meeting will be followed by a presentation related to amateur
radio. More info here.

TRAINING — 2007 Central Plains Severe Weather Symposium.
It will be held at UNL's Hardin Hall at 33rd and Holdrege in Lincoln.
The 2007 theme is, "Severe weather on the Plains: Past, Present and

TRAINING — Sarpy County Storm Spotter Training — Two
sessions, one in the afternoon at 3:00
p.m. and one in the evening at 7:o0 p.m. Location: Bellevue
Volunteer Fire Department training center at 3100 Cornhusker Road. For more info contact Ron

- Mar 29 (Thu) —
TRAINING — Combined ARES/REACT Spotter Training.
Held at Boys Town National Headquarters starting promptly at 7:00 and will
end at 9:00. Sign-in starts at 6:30. For more info contact Dar

- Mar 31 (Sat) —
Sarpy County Preparedness Fair. BARC will have a table to show
off amateur radio and to advertise classes. It starts at 10:00 AM at
the Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department training center at 3100 Cornhusker
Road. If you can help man the club table, please come and help.
Setup begins at 9:45.
- Mar 31 (Sat) HAMFEST —
Anita Hamfest, City Hall, Anita, IA. Admission is free and
tables are free. Starts around 7 AM. Take I-80 into Iowa exit
#70 and then South three (3) miles to town, then back West a little.
It's about halfway to Des Moines. For more info contact Steve
