• Oct 7 (Sun) — HAMFEST — Aksarben Hamfest, at the Millard American Legion Hall, 4618 S. 139th Street, 9:00am-2:00pm.  $3 admission, VE Exams, programs, forums, and speakers.  For more information, go to http://www.aksarbenarc.org or contact Todd LeMense KKØDX at kk0dx@cox.net.
• Oct 11 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Lansky's in Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership.  More info here.
• Oct 12-13 (Fri-Sat) — HAMFEST — Ozarks Regional Hamfest/Homeland Security Convention, Springfield, MO.  For more info go to http://hamfest.smarc.org.
• Oct 13 (Sat) — TRAINING — Technician Class, part two, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  For more information see the Tech Class page or contact Bruce, KYØZ, education@bellevuearc.org.
• Oct 18 (Thu) — Club Dinner.  Dinner will be held at 6:00 PM in the Masonic Lodge dining hall.  The menu includes lasagna, tossed salad, California blend vegetables, garlic bread, and for dessert - apple spice cake!  Cost will again be $8.50 a person.  Please contact dinner@bellevuearc.org to reserve a place.
• Oct 18 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue.  Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  Business meeting is followed by a topic related to amateur radio.  More info here.
