- Nov 3 (Sat) — TRAINING — Annual OMMRS Training and Update,
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Immanuel Hospital Centennial meeting room, Omaha.
For anyone that will be participating in OMMRS exercises or assisting with
radio communications. It is the annual training and will have the latest
changes for the coming year. It is a good refresher and update for
anyone volunteering to help with OMMRS communications. For more

- Nov 8 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Lansky's in
Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership. More info

- Nov 9-10 (Fri - Sat) — HAMFEST
ARRL Midwest Division Convention sponsored by the Lebanon ARC. It
will be held at the Cowan Civic Center, 500 East Elm Street, Lebanon, MO.
ARRL President Joel Harrison W5ZN will be attending and spearhead the ARRL
forum. Operate W1AW/Ø! Big display of Emergency Management
equipment. Special mentoring/Q&A class for hams new to HF. VE

PUBSVC —
Veterans Day Parade. The club will be providing communications support
for the Nebraska Veterans Day parade which is held in Olde Towne Bellevue.

- Nov 11 (Sun) —
SACMARC Special Event station. BARC members will assist in operating the
Strategic Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club's special event stations, KØGRL and KØAIR.
Nov 13 (Tue) — PottCo Quarterly ARES Planning meeting, 7:00pm
at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse EOC. Meeting is open to anyone;
especially ARES members. Talk-in required on 147.495 MHz simplex or call
712-328-5779 to get in the building. Contact Terry
