• Apr 5 (Sat) — PUBSVC — Siren Test.  Sarpy and Douglas counties will be testing EMA sirens on this date at 10 AM and 7 PM.
• Apr 8 (Tue) — TRAINING — Minden SKYWARN Training.  7:00 pm CDT at the Fire Station.  For more information contact Brian.E.Smith@noaa.gov.
• Apr 10 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, meeting at Lansky's in the Twin Creek shopping area near 36th Street and Highway 370.  Open to the membership.  More info here.

• Apr 17 (Thu) — BARC Anniversary Dinner at 6:00 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue.  Menu includes oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with slivered almonds, Cole slaw, dinner rolls, apple cinnamon cake, coffee and iced tea.  Please send your reservation to dinner@bellevuearc.org so we have an accurate headcount.
• Apr 17 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue.  Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  Business meeting will be followed by a presentation related to amateur radio.  Ken Lemke ACØDQ will do a presentation and demonstration of Logbook of the World.  More info here.

• Apr 26 (Sat) — Sarpy County Preparedness Fair at Shadow Lake Shopping Center.  This year's theme is "Spring Into Safety."  BARC will have a table there promoting Amateur Radio.  We could use help with the setup, teardown, and manning the table.  Setup runs from 10 AM to noon.  The fair runs from noon to 4 PM.  [flyer]
