BARC Calendar

• Aug 2 (Sat) — PUBSVC — MARE.  Major Accident Response Exercise at Offutt AFB.  This is conducted in preparation for the Offutt Air Show.  For more details or to request an assignment, contact Ron Clark NØPOM at offuttairshow@bellevuearc.org.
• Aug 11 (Mon) — Quarterly ARES Planning Meeting for Pottawattamie County at 7:00 PM at Pottawattamie County Courthouse (EOC).  This meeting is open to anyone; especially ARES members.  Talk-in required on 147.495 MHz simplex or call 712-328-5779 to get in the building.  For more information contact Terry.Lindsley@pottcounty.com.
• Aug 14 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Lansky's in Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership.  More info here.
• Aug 16-17 (Sat-Sun) — PUBSVC — Offutt AFB Air Show.  The club will provide communications support for this event.  This is a large scale event covering two days, so many volunteers will be needed.  For more details or to request an assignment, contact Ron Clark NØPOM at offuttairshow@bellevuearc.org.
• Aug 21 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  Business meeting is followed by a presentation from Matt Anderson KAØBOJ, the ARRL Section Manager for the Nebraska section.  More info here.  This will also be our quarterly birthday celebration and there will be cake or cookies during the break.
