• Sep 1 (Mon) — Labor Day Holiday.
• Sep 6 (Sat) — Annual Club Picnic at Halleck Park in Papillion.  Starts at 11:00 a.m. with setup at 10:00 a.m.  This is a "Potluck" picnic.  There will be grills available for anyone who wants to bring their own meat to grill.  Please bring a main dish, salad, or a dessert to share, or any combination of the above.  The club will supply of soda, iced tea, coffee if it is cold outside, plates, napkins, cutlery, etc.
• Sep 11 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Lansky's in Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership. More info here.
• Sep 13 (Sat) — TRAINING — Technician Class, part one, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  For more information see the Tech Class page or contact Ray N5SEZ, education@bellevuearc.org.
• Sep 13 (Sat)  — PUBSVC — Spokes for Folks Bike Ride.  The ride starts and ends at St Patrick's Church in Elkhorn. The ride starts at 9:00 so we would need volunteers on site by 8:30 a.m. Contact Pat KØCTU bikeride@aksarbenarc.org to sign up to help.
• Sep 18 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  The business meeting is followed by a presentation by Dr. Tom Williams WXØL on OMMRS, the Omaha Metro Medical Response System.  More info here.

• Sep 20 (Sat) — HAMFEST — Sioux Empire ARC Hamfest.  8 AM to 5 PM at the Oaks Hotel in Sioux Falls, SD.  Talk-in on 146.895 tone 146.2.  Admission $5.00.  For info go to www.w0zwy.org/hamfest or email hamfest@w0zwy.org.

• Sep 21 (Sun) — HAMFEST — Boyer Valley ARC Flea Market, 8 AM - Noon, (change of venue) Mondamin Community Center, 200 Maple Street, Mondamin, IA.  More info at http://www.bvarc.net/.
• Sep 27 (Sat) — PUBSVC — River City Round-up Parade.  Contact Dar Piatt W9HZC for more info at rcr2008@bellevuearc.org.  Volunteers will be needed along the parade route.
• Sep 28 (Sun) — PUBSVC — Make-A-Wish Bike Ride.  Contact George Bellairs KBØZZT at wish2008@bellevuearc.org for more information or to volunteer.
• Sep 30 (Tue) — VE Testing Session.  6:30 PM.  Held at the American Red Cross, 2912 S 80th Ave, Omaha, NE.  Enter on the west side of the building on the lower level.  For more information, contact Gerry Gross WA6POZ at WA6POZ@arrl.net.  New licensees as well as upgrades.  Walk-ins welcome.
