BARC Calendar

November 2008

• Nov 8 (Sat) — PUBSVC — Veterans Day Parade.  The club will be providing communications support for the Nebraska Veterans Day parade which is held in Olde Towne Bellevue.  More information to follow.
• Nov 10 (Mon) — Quarterly ARES Planning Meeting for Pottawattamie County at 7:00 PM at Pottawattamie County Courthouse (EOC).  This meeting is open to anyone; especially ARES members.  Talk-in required on 147.495 MHz simplex or call 712-328-5779 to get in the building.  For more information contact Terry.Lindsley@pottcounty.com.
• Nov 11 (Tue) — SACMARC Special Event station.  BARC members will assist in operating the Strategic Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club's special event stations, KØGRL and KØAIR.
• Nov 13 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Lansky's in Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership.  More info here.
• Nov 20 (Thu) — Soup Supper Fund Raiser at 6:00 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue.  Will need volunteers to provide soup and desserts.
• Nov 20 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  Business meeting is followed by a topic related to amateur radio.  More info here.
• Nov 27 (Thu) — Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
