BARC Calendar

August 2009

• Aug 1 (Sat) — All Communicators Picnic.  It will be an evening picnic starting at 6:00 PM.  Cancelled.
• Aug 13 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Lansky's in Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership.  More info here.
• Aug 15 (Sat) — PUBSVC — MARE.  Major accident response exercise, Offutt AFB, precedes the Air Show.  This date is a guess at this point and may change.  The club will provide safety and security support to the base for the exercise. 
• Aug 20 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  Open to anyone interested in amateur radio. Business meeting will be followed by a presentation by Eddie Edwards KØIL on RF Interference, how to identify and find its sources.  This will also be our quarterly birthday celebration and there will be cake or cookies during the break.
• Aug 22 (Sat) — PUBSVC — Arrows to Aerospace Parade.  BARC provides safety and security support to the Bellevue Police Department for this parade in Olde Towne.  The in-brief is at 7 AM at the PD and we are usually done by noon.  More details for follow. 
• Aug 29-30 (Sat - Sun) — PUBSVC — Offutt Air Show.  The club will provide safety and security support to the base for the air show.  Details to follow.
