• Sep 7 (Mon) — Labor Day Holiday.
• Sep 10 (Thu) — BARC Board Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at Village Inn in Twin Creek Plaza, open to the membership. More info here.  NOTE:  Meeting place changed.
• Sep 12 (Sat) — BARC Annual Picnic.  Picnic site will be the Walnut Creek Recreation area, east side of the lake, first covered shelter closest to the parking area.  Pot luck.  Start time is 11:00 AM.  Talk-in on 147.39.  Setup starts at 10:00 and we are looking for help.
• Sep 17 (Thu) — BARC General Membership Meeting at 7:30 PM, held at the Masonic Hall in Bellevue. Open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  Business meeting will be followed by a presentation by Mark Chastain NØWQK on the Community Emergency Response Team or C.E.R.T.  More info on CERT.  More info on the meeting location is here.
• Sep 19 (Sat) — HAMFEST — Missouri Valley ARC Hamfest.  8am to ??? at the American Legion Post No 359, 4826 Frederick Ave, St. Joseph MO.  For more info go to http://www.w0nh.com/index_files/hamfest.htm.
• Sep 20 (Sun) — HAMFEST — Boyer Valley ARC Flea Market.  8am to Noon at the Mondamin Community Center in Mondamin, IA.  [flyer]
• Sep 26 (Sat) — PUBSVC — River City Roundup.  BARC provides communications support along the parade route.  Contact Dar Piatt W9HZC at dpiatt@fnni.com for more information or to sign up.
• Sep 27 (Sun) — PUBSVC — Make-A-Wish Ride, starting in Percival, IA at 7:00 am.  Amateur Radio operators are needed to staff water stops, SAG vehicles, bike repair vehicles, medical support vehicles, and last rider vehicles on the route.  Contact George Bellairs KBØZZT, and include your T-Shirt size, preferred assignment, phone number, and times you will be available.
